Ireti Senior Grammar School, Lagos

The Ireti school is located in Lagos, Nigeria, a city of 15 million.

In this public school of 750 students and 14 teachers, only 30% of its graduates continue on to college.

The needs of this school are great and the NSP has been able to help by purchasing books, building lab stools and teachers desks and providing university scholarships for exemplary students.

In 2006, the project built a library and by 2008 it was filled with 50 boxes of books donated by American students. The books range from reference materials, encyclopedias, classic literature to young adult fiction. It is a dream come true for the Ireti students as they venture into a new and exciting world of learning.
